Description: ➡️ NOTE ( April 2021 UPDATE): The iron list is no longer available for purchase as I have changed my business focus. Thank you for your interest. Low iron levels are a common issue, so you're not alone! In this video, I share 7 science-backed tips to boost your iron levels. I discuss things you can do to eat more iron, foods that hinder iron absorption and other tips so you can increase your iron levels effectively. I used to have low iron levels a few years ago and these tips have helped increase my iron levels. I would strongly suggest talking to a doctor to get your iron levels tested before trying any of the tips in this video. Just as low iron is not a good thing, excess iron is not a good thing either. And definitely, do NOT take a supplement unless you have spoken to your doctor about that. ----------------------------- REFERENCES USED: Intro: healthline.com/nutrition/iron-deficiency-signs-symptoms TIP 1 // Heme vs. non-heme iron: irondisorders.org/iron-we-consume TIP 2 // healthline.com/nutrition/increase-iron-absorption#section3 TIP 3 // healthline.com/nutrition/phytic-acid-101#section4 Soaking basic info to get started: wholelifestylenutrition.com/health/is-soaking-grains-and-legumes-necessary-and-how-to-properly-soak-and-prepare-them TIP 4 // healthline.com/nutrition/increase-iron-absorption#section4 healthline.com/nutrition/coffee-caffeine-iron-absorption#section2 TIP 5 // academic.oup.com/ajcn/article-pdf/68/1/3/23189271/3.pdf academic.oup.com/ajcn/article/53/1/106/4691189 ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1782927 tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1080/10408399209527573 TIP 6 // aafp.org/afp/2007/0301/p671.html healthline.com/health/hypochlorhydria TIP 7 // goaskalice.columbia.edu/answered-questions/does-cooking-cast-iron-pots-and-pans-add-iron-our-food universityhealthnews.com/daily/energy/use-cast-iron-cookware-as-an-iron-deficiency-treatment/http://img2.timg.co.il/forums/1_167440814.pdf ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23868537 ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12667149 drweil.com/health-wellness/balanced-living/healthy-home/cooking-with-cast-iron TIP 8 // niddk.nih.gov/health-information/blood-diseases/anemia-inflammation-chronic-disease beyondceliac.org/celiac-disease/related-conditions/anemia healthline.com/health/10-reasons-iron-supplements -------------------------------------------------- DISCLAIMER The information provided on this channel is for informational and educational purposes only and is not intended as a substitute for advice from your physician or other qualified health care professional.
